摘要

Free convection flow of Walters- liquid (model- B') past an impulsively started vertical plate with velocity of the form At" and oscillating temperature at the plate with uniform suction in the presence of transverse magnetic field is considered. The solution of the governing equations is obtained by an implicit exponentially fitted finite difference method. The solutions for the two cases n = 0.5 and n = 1 (plate moving with constant acceleration) are computed and the effect of the parameters m (magnetic field strength), P_r (Prandtl number), G_r (Grashof number), ω (frequency parameter) and K_0 (non-dimentional elastic parameter) on the velocity, temperature and the skin-friction are discussed numerically, shown through graphs and numerical values are presented through Tables.
