Applicability of Fuzzy Logic to Definition of Stress-Strain Diagram of Fibre Concrete

摘要

The mechanical behaviour of fibre concrete is heavily influenced by the amount and type of the fibres used while material models need to take into account these effects in order to ensure broader applicability in numerical analyses. This paper presents a fuzzy-togic-'oased approach to definition of the stress-strain diagram of fibre concrete. The objective in the definition is to create a continuous curve over the entire range of the stress-strain diagram, which is achieved by formulating a method based on the fuzzy logic control and optimization of the distribution and the number of the fuzzy sets. The fuzzy model definition of the stress-strain diagrams is based on real experimental data for fibre concrete. The advantage of this approach is the flexibility which allows description of the peculiarities of the peak and post-peak behaviour. The method is explained in examples.
