What if your interest lies in modeling the operations of your favorite prototype railroad over a very specific line? My client for the layout design shown here, Jared Harper, was interested in an HO scale model railroad representing the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe's Alma District. This relatively obscure Kansas branch line departed from the AT&SF First District main line between Topeka and Emporia at Burlingame.
