An Mr Quick Look: 0 Scale Narrow Gauge Caboose

Comments: An O scale model of a 30-foot eight-wheel caboose that rode the three-foot gauge rails of the Denver & Rio Grande Western is available as a ready-to-run plastic model. The San Juan Car Co. D&RGW "long" caboose is available with wheels gauged for On3 or On 2(1/2) track. The model's prototype was one of five radial-roof cabooses rebuilt by the Rio Grande between 1920 and 1923. The O scale model's dimensions match drawings in A Century + Ten of D&RGW Narrow Gauge Freight Cars, 1871 to 1981 by Robert E. Sloan (published by the author).
