Comments: Boomtown USA is Walthers' name for its new line of HO scale laser-cut matboard structure kits. The nine structures, designed around a western U.S. theme, would also be appropriate for many rural areas up through the Depression.rnThe HO scale structures are made for Walthers by GC Laser Innovations. The kits consist of a number of matboard sheets in different colors and thicknesses. Most parts are laser-cut from 1mm (HO scale 31/2") matboard in a natural gray color that comes close to that of weathered wood. Details like doors, windows, andrntrim are cut from .3mm white paper (about as thick as an index card).
