People I meet (once they become aware that I've a private workshop) often ask, "What do you make?" My usual response is: swarf! Some of it curly and some of it in small pieces! Seriously, I get a deal of satisfaction just from making swarf and by that I mean deploying methods and processes with some skill and knowledge to make things. (I do know how sad this makes me sound! But I hope you will bear with me or at least indulge me).
