A considerable time ago when access to a small lathe first came my way, it soon became apparent that I would, at some stage, require some means of division or indexing when making various components. Then, as now, finance was of a major consideration, available British tooling impossibly expensive, and the cheaper 'Far Eastern' imports with which we are now blessed, but a gleam in an oriental eye!
