After a couple of weeks use, some swarf had managed to lodge itself between the sliding surfaces and a fast remedy would have to be found. True to say, no system is fail proof but even the crudest of systems is better than no system at all and photo 1 shows what I mean. It would have taken just a little extra work to provide some means of protection rather than leaving it as shown.
