MAKING TOOTHED BELT FORM RELIEVED CUTTERS

This article came about from a query posed by Roger Vane in Scribe a line MEW issue 147. During the construction of a CNC cutter grinder I made, which was published in MEW issues 142 to 147, it was necessary to obtain or make a number of toothed belt pulleys. I used 1/5 XL belts for the machine and the cutter I used to make the pulley wheels was made some twenty years ago.
