In order to cut the rack I adapted my Warco Mini Mill/Drill (photo 2) to cut accurate, digitally calibrated measurements, by the use of the modified electronic vernier calliper that I purchased for a few pounds. Indeed it was quite a few pounds less costly than the real purpose made item. I didn't consider this to be a travesty of design or engineering principles; if anything it was a low cost way of upgrading my milling machine. In all my photos the machine guards have been removed to allow a clearer view of the object.
