IMPROVING A LOW-COST ROTARY TABLE

Looking at the various sources available online I found a small 6ir rotary table at a very convenient price (ref 1, usual disclaimer). The table has only three slots bu had a number of advantages for me. The first one was its low cost, lower than the comparable and used ones I had seen on online auctions. The second one was that it had a very low profile for a 160mm (six-inch) table; only 60mm above the mill's cross table. This was important for me because the Sieg X2 does not have a great deal of space above the table.
