CONVERTING A MYFORD SUPER SEVEN LATHE TO CNC

The stepper motor pulley (fig 6) and cross slide leadscrew pulley (fig 7) are bored to suit respective location diameters. Both are drilled and tapped through to the bore and a grub screw inserted. The thickness of the cross slide pulley is reduced to 11mm whilst retaining the pulley wall for the belt. Photograph 7 shows the finished stepper motor pulley in position.
