In MEW Christmas issue 2007 (No.133) I was interested to read Eric Clark's excellent article about the Clarkson chuck and in particular the FC3 adaptor of type 2 in his diagram on page 38.1 immediately looked through my Clarkson Operators' Handbook, obtained with my Clarkson Autolock Chuck about 30 years ago, but could find no mention of this particular item. There is, however, mention of type 3 in Eric's diagrams though these were expensive. Messrs J&L's quote in their mid-2007 8th edition catalogue was £38.00 + VAT.
