CROSSING OUT USING A ROTARY TABLE

Before I get to the main purpose of this article an explanation may not be out of place. I suggested to the editor that I could do a series of mini articles, half to one page mostly, though this one does not fit into that category. Also, as he requested in issue 203 for clock making related articles, I decided to make a start on them as some are influenced by my recent attempt at making a skeleton clock. Whilst I described the articles as a series most are not interrelated. Some of the articles have been extracted from larger articles I have provided in the past as I consider that the item being covered will have a greater impact as a stand-alone feature. Should the reader remember the original, I hope you will accept this for the benefit of those who cannot remember it, or didn't take the magazine at the time.
