BRISTOL MODEL ENGINEER EXHIBITION

The Bristol Model Engineering and Hobbies Exhibition is at Thornbury on 16th to 18th August. The on-line ticket sales operation is now available for advance purchase of 'Queue Hopper Tickets' - visit for all the information. One of the special exhibits this year is the superb 7 1/4 inch gauge model of the Vale of Rheidol loco Owain Glyndwr which will be on loan from the National Railway Museum. As this is a scale model of a 1ft 11 1/2 inch narrow gauge engine it is a huge model! Also expected on loan from the NRM is Roy Amsbury's model 'Deltic' engine - another very fine example of model engineering.
