Let us start with digital subscriptions. You can purchase a digital only subscription to Model Engineers' Workshop for a small amount of money. This entitles you to one year's access to the entire 200 + back issues of the magazine as well as the next 13 issues to be published. The website is out of date, you get access to all 200 + issues, not just a few years' worth. You can print individual pages for your own use, you can read the magazine online but you cannot download the entire magazine. Most people have their subscription number emailed to them almost immediately.The database grants access based on the subscription number and the reader's surname. Sometimes surnames can be entered incorrectly by the office and access is not allowed. This has happened on a few occasions only.
