An Easy QCTP

My workshop lathe is a Myford Super 7 and for years I have been using a 4-way toolpost and because I use a variety of H.S.S. tools, 3mm to 10mm square, I am always packing up to centre height with all odd bits of shim. Looking in MEW, which I get regularly and look forward to reading-and on eBay, I see now that QCTPs are becoming popular, still a bit pricey, but the cheaper ones are made from aluminium. Thinking about the design and searching through my box of mild steel bar offcuts, I decided it can't be that hard, so have a go and make your own QCTP.
