Installing a Magnetic DRO System to a Mini-Lathe

I have owned, or had the use of, a lathe at home since I was 16 and have not had much trouble with turning accurately by the use of the micrometer scales plus the use of a micrometer. About four years ago I purchased and fitted a glass scale DRO system to my mill, which has transformed the way I work and I have hankered about fitting a similar system to my Clarke 300 mini lathe ever since.
