"There's not much point in the health nannies telling us to take more exercise when gyms and leisure centres are slamming their doors in our faces claiming they're brassic. It's like one half of Government hasn't a clue what the other half is doing - yeah I know, is the Pope a Catholic, does a bear etc - but I mean, you've gotta admit it's a shambles. The nannies are always telling us it costs squillions 'cos we're all overweight and pop our clogs at the first whiff of COVID and the NHS says obesity is costing it billions. Okay, if that's the case, then head a bit upstream and give the cash to councils instead to keep their leisure centres open so we can work off the flab. I mean, it wasn't that long ago they were giving free swims to lazy pensioners to keep the old wrinklies active and away from hogging hospital beds, so what's the difference now, apart from the fact there's a lot less pensioners around due to COVID?
