Camden to charge 150% council tax on empty second properties

Camden LBC has revealed plans for a huge hike in council tax bills for empty second homes. The north London borough is looking at using powers contained in the Local Government Finance Act, once it becomes law, to charge 150% council tax for second homes that remain empty for more than two years.
