DfE accused of softening up tactics over commissioner model

The Department for Education (DfE) is 'softening up' the public for a wider implementation of the Doncaster children's services model, it has been claimed. Former executive director of the Association of Directors of Children's Services, Chris Waterman, made the claim after more than a week of bad news for the sector.
