Head of Adult Social Care

Blackpool Council is a vibrant and positive organisation, determined to provide the best possible services to its communities. Like all Local Authorities we are adapting the way we do things in response to the economic cut-backs, but that does not mean we are scaling back in key areas like adult social care. Far from it. This is a priority area for the Council given the demographic make up of the borough, and our new Head of Adult Social Care will need to offer some strategic solutions to ensure that we remain at the top of our game. We have strong links with the CCG and there is scope for greater joint working with our health colleagues.
