Chief's Association Appoints New Director

The Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association (MN Chiefs) announces its new executive director, Lino Lakes Chief Dave Pecchia, effective Aug. 2. He was selected this month by the statewide association's 15-member board of directors. Chief Pecchia replaces Executive Director Harlan Johnson who has served the association six years, leaving a thriving organization, Johnson is a retired chief from Deephaven, MN. Chief Pecchia retires July 30 from the Lino Lakes Police Department, a position he has held since 1993. He said he is 'excited for his new role and the opportunity to serve the members of the organization in whatever capacity the board sees fit."
