Get your Mini buffed up for the 20th anniversary of the London to Brighton Mini Run on May 15. It is going to be tremendous. Run tickets have sold out, but there is still hope if you're not one of the lucky 2100 'Runners'. London & Surrey Mini Owners Club's (LSMOC) brilliant annual Mini Run from Crystal Palace Park to Madeira Drive, Brighton, is probably the most famous annual event in the Mini show calendar. This year, it takes place on Sunday 15 May and, as usual, the tickets have been sold out well in advance. That means that we can expect at least 2100 official 'Runners' on the day. If you were unlucky and missed out on a ticket, you can join the mass of unofficial 'Runners' who shadow the run, joining the convoy outside the starting venue and all along the A23 route to Brighton. The only difficulty you will face is parking, as you must have a ticket to use the official Run parking at Crystal Palace Park and on Madeira Drive, Brighton. One non-official parking solution is to head for the free multi-story car park at Brighton Marina, off the A259 just east of the town. It is an easy walk to Madeira Drive from there. The Marina also has a hotel, which is ideal for anyone travelling from further afield.
