I Love Mini

I've had my Mini Van for over a year now: I rescued it after it was abandoned in a garage for nine years. When I got it, all but two of the windows had been smashed, it had fire damage to the front of the car and the interior was a real mess. Originally it was a 1981 Austin Mini Van, which was converted for wheelchair use. I was going to use it as a donor car for my Van, but when I got it, I thought it was too good to break up! I spent four weeks working on it, replacing the brakes, loom and other parts. After a month it passed its first MOT. I decided I really wanted the Van to stand out, so I thought a bright yellow respray would do the job. I did the respray myself and finished the paintwork the night before the 2007 MiniWorld Riviera Run. Since then, I have taken it on lots of Mini runs and covered 3,500 miles!
