We are a 'Mini mad' family - my mum drives a 40th anniversary Cooper, my dad is rebuilding a 1968 Cooper and I drive a 1981 Mini City! So when my husband Daniel and I were planning our wedding, I suggested using the Minis as our wedding cars. Naturally everyone in the family and many willing Mini owners from our local club (Auckland) thought it was a good idea. We had a great day in the cars; it is not every day that you see five beautifully polished Classic Minis, all dressed for a wedding, driving down the road. So many people tooted and waved at us on the drive to the church and we felt like celebrities! All of our Mini drivers did such a great job and the day would have not been the success that it was without our fabulous Mini drivers and the stars of the show- the Minis!
