We started off specifying standard Rover 8.4m discs for Michelle but there's no denying that everyone is moving back to the mainstream Mini look with 10-inch wheels. It was always going to emulate an early Mini anyway, so I dug out a load of spare OE Mini 3.5×10 steel wheels and ordered the Cooper S 7.5-inch front brake conversion from Mini Spares (the cheaper option with pattern callipers is MSSK013MS, £230 for a complete set). If your Minirnalready has standard Rover 8.4-inch discs then the conversion kit is very straightforward.
