Here are some pics of my Mini, which I've finally finished. It's now on the road after five years of work. The car is a Mini City which I bought back in 2006 in a bit of a state with lots of rust and a crumpled rear end. I've since replaced many of the usual panels including: bootlid, hinge panel, rear corner, rear quarter, rear valance, half of the boot floor, heelboard, inner sills, outer sills, doorstep, door hinge panels, etc. The car originally had a 998 A+ engine which I managed to get running. This was then changed to a 1275 Metro unit, along with a steel flip-front. I then got carried away and decided to fit an engine from a Toyota MR2 and here is the result. It now has a fibreglass front end, Ashley 2-inch exhaust, 7x13-inch Revolite 4-spokes, Spax coil-overs, rear beam, rollcage, custom dash with MR2 clocks, custom rear lights, reclining bucket seats and 4-point harnesses.
