Words and photos: Jim Jupp It's often said that you shouldn't mix business and pleasure, but here at MiniWorld that's not always possible as our day jobs drift and merge into our hobbies. It's often hard to distinguish sometimes which is work and which is pleasure, which is a nice situation to be in. You could say the same for Ralph de la Hoyde and his son, Craig. By day they build some of the world's fastest and most competitive cars, then in their spare time, they built their ultimate Mini. And, with skills learnt for their day job, they put together a rather unique car with some very trick modifications. It's the kind of Mini you have to actually stop and look at closely, and look way beyond the Vmax Scart supercharger kit. It's only then you see a hell of a lot more, and appreciate the level of craftsmanship that has gone into this build.
