The self-adhesive Reflect-a-Gold heat barrier is now available in a much larger range of sizes from 30.5cm x 30.5cm to 61cm x 45.72cm. Reflect-a-Gold is a fire-resistant polymer-laminated glass cloth capable of withstanding temperatures up to 455-degrees C. Apparently, 80 per cent of radiant heat is reflected, making this useful for protecting wires and components from engine, catalyst and exhaust system heat.
