SRI LANKA RUN

On Sunday 23 June 25 members of The Mighty Mini Club of Sri Lanka drove their Minis to Ragama to donate funds towards the medical expenses of a 12 year old boy who has been paralysed from the age of 11 months. Rs150,000 (£741.22) was raised from donations from the committee, several members, and club funds, and was handed over to the parents by the president of the MMC before a large gathering. Many members have also pledged additional funds to repair the house where the family lives. The event was co-ordinated by Rasanga and Thanura. On the return journey members were invited to tea at Rasanga's home.
