The Mighty Mini Club of Sri Lanka held its Mirigama Challenge on Sunday 11 August at the Kanway Racing Circuit, Mirigama, in the Western Province of Sri Lanka, approximately 60km north east of Colombo. There were 64 entries, spread over 11 events, which included the SLAS-approved Mini 7 and the SL-A 1050cc classes. Both these classes saw some excellent racing. The SL-A 1050 class was won by Hafiz Cader with Donald Buultgens second and Prasad Wickramasingha a very close third. The Wijeratne brothers, Lakmal and Chatura, took 1st and 2nd places in the Mini 7 event, with Thanush in 3rd place. The Modified 1000 class was won by Praveen Madugalle, who recorded the fastest time of the day.
