My Mini

This was my 17th birthday present, back in April. It was a present from my mum and dad.lt was originally given to me in 2009 by a kind neighbour after it had been parked up for several years.lt took my dad 18 months to completely restore the car from a bare shell. I have always wanted a pink Mini that I could name Lily and this has caused a lot of amusement with dad's Mini friends as he had to spray pink paint. Because of my age the engine is completely standard, so the insurance is affordable, but this may change at a later date! I have been attending Mini shows since I was two weeks old and have been to many IMMs (I helped on the gate at the Birmingham IMM in 2009) and have taken part in the Legendary Grand Tour since 2005.I was very disappointed not to go to this year's IMM in Italy but it coincided with my AS exams.
