In recent years more and more Mini folk have been travelling to Newquay on the Friday before the early May bank holiday weekend, leaving the traditional Saturday Mini run from Reading Services to Newquay quite depleted. This year the MiniWorld team made the difficult decision to cancel the Saturday run and we also travelled down on the Friday (2 May). Trevelgue Holiday Park is under new management, renamed Newquay View, and is undergoing a refurbishment programme, so we were excited to see how the weekend would unfold. We arrived to find good weather, lots of Minis, and the enticing smell of barbecues lingering in the air.
