I have a 1980 Mini which I have bought to use as a weekend fun car. I intend to lightly modify it along fairly traditional lines. In the past someone has fitted 12-inch Rover Minilite-style alloys and a set of 8.4-inch discs and I think they look horrible, as they are not right for the age of the car. I would like to convert back to 10-inch wheels but would still like to retain discs on the front -I do not want to convert back to drums. Is it possible for 7.5-inch discs to fit on the existing hubs along with the calipers or will I need a complete set of S front brakes?
