It takes a phenomenal amount of time, money and effort to take part in concours competitions at a competitive level. If you've ever fully valeted a Mini inside and out and cleaned out all the nooks and crannies you'll know just how long it takes. But serious concours buffers will take this to the next level, and then some! Many of them compete weekend after weekend in the summer months and only a select few will achieve their goal of a trophy. And, in between the shows, they will spend every spare waking hour cleaning and polishing to perfect their Mini. Every year at the National Mini Show I am amazed at the extreme level of detail I see in the concours area, and this year was no exception.
