Stan Field, a member of the original Mini design team, who we interviewed in the March 2014 issue of MiniWorld, has a spiral-bound booklet that not only contains technical information, it also has some great drawings and cartoons of the Mini. It was presumably compiled for the Mini launch but, unlike other publicity material, it is credited to The Austin Motor Company at Longbridge, rather than BMC publications, which were usually from The Nuffield Press. Stan told us: "Jack gave it to me personally. It was done under Jack's initiative. He wanted a resume of all the main features."
