Mini Spares 4-ring 8.5:1 compression pistons, designed for the 1098cc A-series engine. The top three rings are 0.0625-inch thick and the bottom oil control ring is 0.1249-inch thick. Available in +0.020-, +0.030-, +0.040-, +0.060-inch overbore. Automec is well known for its copper brake pipes but also produces these in 90/10 cupro-nickel (BS2871 Part 3, CN102 and BS EN 12451.1999), which is a requirement for some countries, such as Germany, USA and New Zealand. They have a slightly higher working pressure than thick-walled copper brake pipes.
