After a grey few days of the Easter weekend, the forecast was for an overcast, cloudy but dry day for the 2015 Surrey Hills Mini Run on Easter Monday, 6 April, so we were amazed and delighted at the bright sunshine and blue skies as we arrived at the Royal Oak at Pirbright for the start of the run. The sunshine brought the Minis out of hibernation - Spring had definitely sprung. Not only were we able to cast off our coats, those of us with sunroofs and soft tops were able to go topless! Surrey Hills Mini Group always manages to come up with a great route, ideal for Minis, along the twisty narrow roads and hills of Surrey, this year venturing into Hampshire and over the West Sussex borders along the way. In fact I thought for a while we were going for Fifty Shades of Grey, following signs to places such as Greywell, Upton Grey and Greatham.
