I first met Suzanne Johns back in 2005 at the official opening of the Issigonis Centenary Exhibition, which was to run for a year until the 100th anniversary of the birth of Alec Issigonis in October 2006. I've met up with her a few times since then and she's always captivated me with her anecdotes about working for the man behind the Mini. Despite her reticence about talking to the press, she kindly agreed to speak to MiniWorld about some of her memories of the man she affectionately called 'Issi'. Suzanne started work in Issigonis' office at Longbridge after the launch of the Mini.
