Billy Finch bought his first Mini when he was just 14 years of age. He reckons he has owned about 35 other various cars since then, including five Minis. A lot of those cars were actually bought as donor cars for his first Mini. "It's cheaper to buy a whole car than an engine because you make the money back on the cars," he laughs. However, the passion for the many modifications to the first Mini means that he hasn't actually driven it since he was 17. So, in January 2015, at the grand old age of 23 he decided it was time for another Mini that he could actually drive. "I just wanted to buy another Mini." He eventually went to see Les Roberts of BL Transverse and London and Surrey MOC.
