It's easy to understand why David Jackson's 1991 Rover Cooper took first place in the Loudest Mini Sound System category at last year's Mini Fest, or how it collected second place in the Show 'n' Shine 1991-2000 class at Mini World Live. The Flame Red exterior oozes attention to detail, from the ERA bonnet bulge and side stripes to the louvres over the rear screen and the electric sliding sunroof. However, the exterior seems reserved when compared with the interior. Inside you'll find speakers just about everywhere and a mixture of custom panelling and colour-matched upholstery. Under the bonnet there's a Stage 3 tuned 1275cc A+ and, at all four corners, the brakes and suspension have been mildly uprated.
