My Mini sickness began when I purchased my first Mini, a Morris Mini Traveller, in 1963. My husband was stationed in France at the time, with the US Air Force, and we arranged for it to be shipped to Washington State for his next assignment. I remember sitting inside wondering how to start it. Nobody had warned me about the floor-mounted starter button!
