The 1977 brochure for British Leyland's Mini range pictured a 1275 GT getting admiring looks at an airport. BL was clearly aiming the car at jet-setters who wanted a thrill-ride to and from the airport. The muted tones of the striped grey interior and dash area could contrast nicely with the range of bright colours available.
