Many years ago Grant Bowyer's first car was supposed to be a Mini. "I found one I liked," he says, "but the local mechanic said it was rubbish and my dad came home with the mechanic's Morris Marina instead." Though the Marina wasn't the car he wanted, it did start Grant's lifelong interest in DIY car repair.
