The vast majority of Minis featured in MiniWorld are built by people who have either been involved with these little cars for a lifetime or now own lots of them and can't imagine being without them. It's always Intriguing to see how someone who has a wider interest in cars regards the Mini and whether they can get fully absorbed in a Mini project. One person who has survived a modified Mini project is 41 year-old Ant Reed. Owning a car body shop has helped him achieve a high standard of finish and he admits that if the paint finish on a panel wasn't good enough, he rubbed it down and painted it again. He also stuck to what he's good at, calling in the experts when, for instance, it came to having louvres added to the bonnet, the ECU mapped and a stainless steel exhaust manifold and system custom made.
