Pride of Longbbridge took place at Cofton Park, Birmingham, overlooked by the remains of the historic Longbridge Works and 'Q' Gate. The event commemorates the anniversary of the day in 2005 when the MG Rover workforce was laid off, and the subsequent demise of the company. It celebrates all that was great about Longbridge and the cars that were made there. The 2016 event had to be cancelled, due to bad weather, but this year's event, on 15 April (Easter Saturday) featured dry grass and even some sunshine.
