Soldering on

Things have been progressing nicely on our Clubby Estate project. With the top window runner channel trimmed to length and the end painted to seal the metal I went for it, after first trying a dummy fit of the side glass on both sides. Trimming was quite easy, as I used a Flexovit cutting disc on an angle grinder. There are some clips between the cant rail and the top edge of the window frame that had to be pulled out with a sturdy pair of pliers prior to fitting the glass. The clips slightly overlap the top of the runner and I realised there was no way of sliding in the runner with them in place. I made a point of noting where the clips went too, and they were easy to press back into place.
