My Gnatty Mini-based kit car

I thought you might be interested in this Mini-based special, The Gnat, which I built in 1990. I intended it to look like a Mk1 Sprite but my capabilities couldn't create the necessary curves and it ended up with this more 1980s boxy style. I started with a mechanically sound MOT failure P-reg 1000cc Mini. I stripped it and dumped the shell. I welded up a spaceframe from steel box and rectangular sections, creating a doorless chassis. The front subframe bolted to my spaceframe but I scrapped the rear one, instead hanging the radius arms from the chassis.
