Retro seat retrim: part 1 of 2

Alot of people hanker after that cool Mk1 look but, with extremely buoyant prices for early Minis, a Mkl is out of many peoples' price range. There is always the option to give a later Mini a retro facade but that modern interior gives the game away as earlier front seats were smaller. But, by using similar fabric designs and colours to those used in Mkl Minis we can make the larger seats look retro. We took a set of very worn Mini front and rear seats to Newton Commercial where their highly skilled trimmer, Tom Balls, showed us how it should be done.
